Cantamus - Teapot Pourri

A COSY SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Music, readings, tea, home-made cake – what could be better on a Sunday afternoon early in March? Richard Emms’ a cappella choir Cantamus and Three’s Company present a relaxing afternoon’s “Teapot Pourri” at the Townsend Hall in Shipston-on-Stour at 3.p.m. on 5th March.

Treats in store include music ranging from Cole Porter and George Shearing to the Beatles and Jake Thackray, via Bach and arrangements of traditional folk songs, with readings both humorous and poignant. Add to this delicious confection some home-made cakes with tea or coffee, and there is something for all to enjoy.

Tickets are available from Clarke’s Electricals in Shipston, or at the door, and cost £10 – which includes refreshments.
