Cantamus a cappella choir
Cantamus is a choir of about 24 able singers. Our repertoire is almost entirely unaccompanied, in anything from 4 to 10 parts. It ranges from English and European madrigals to music from the 21st century; from the challenging to the disarmingly simple, and from the deepest tingle-factor to the utterly frivolous. We perform for music societies, for charitable and private events in the South Midlands and the North Cotswolds.
Cantamus rehearses at the Catholic Parish Centre, Darlingscote Road, on Tuesdays at 7.30 pm.
This is a choir for experienced singers; if you wish to join we will audition you within the choir.4 Costard Avenue, Shipston on Stour, CV36 4HW 01789 269587 www.cantamus.org.uk firstname.lastname@example.org

Stour Singers is the choral society for rural South Warwickshire. 'Community music-making at its best' (Stratford Herald) We offer an exciting and ambitious programme of major choral works which includes many of the all-time favourites and some little-known masterpieces. Stour Singers was formed as a community choir in 1975 and is a mixed choir of about 80 singers. Our members come from a wide area including South Warwickshire and neighbouring North Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire We do not have auditions. There are many very able and experienced singers in the choir, but we do welcome beginners. Students join for free. All we ask is a love and enthusiasm for music, and a desire to sing. Need help with sight-singing? We produce CDs of the individual parts so that less experienced singers can get to know the music at their own pace.
Stour Singers rehearse at the Primary School on Thursday evenings, at 7.30.p.m., from September to May.2 Spencer Court, Cherry OrchardStratford-Upon-Avon, CV37 9AL 01789 269587 www.stoursingers.org.uk
