Royal British Legion Social Evening: The Shipston on Stour Branch gathers for a social event on the third Friday of each month at The Horseshoe, starting at 7:30 PM.

Additionally, every other month, the Branch Committee meets on the third Friday at St Edmund's Church from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, before joining the social gathering (July, Sept, Oct, Dec).

The Shipston Branch of the Royal British Legion will hold a commemorative ceremony at 11:45 AM on Friday, 15th August 2025, at the Gyratory Gardens, to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory over Japan Day (VJ Day). 

This solemn occasion will honour the courage, sacrifice, and service of all those who contributed to the end of the Second World War in the Pacific. At 12:00 noon, we will join the nation in observing the National Two Minute Silence, paying tribute to those who gave so much for peace. 

All are welcome to attend and stand with us in remembrance.
